Doja Cat’s “Planet Her” Reaches Over 1 Billion Spotify Streams, and Becomes The Fastest Album By a Female Rapper in History, To Hit This Mark

Last month, Doja Cat delivered her highly anticipated sophomore album, “Planet Her.” It was led by the smash-hit single, “Kiss Me More” feat. SZA, and “Need To Know.” Additional appearances included Young Thug, JID, and The Weeknd. Planet Her went on to debut at number two on the Billboard 200 chart, and spent time at that position for three consecutive weeks.

Planet Her has already reached another impressive milestone as well. According to Chart Data, it has now passed 1 billion streams on Spotify. This now becomes the fastest album by a female rapper to hit this mark.

The deluxe edition for Planet Her went on to be released a few days after original release as well. It contained four new tracks, which included appearances from The Weeknd, Eve, and Gunna. Currently, “Aint’ Sh*t” is another record from the album that is making a lot of noise as well.
