Through his career, Don Cheadle has had some breakout roles. A veteran in Hollywood, Don Cheadle has some roles many people may not even realize was him. On “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” season one, a young Don Cheadle played Will Smith’s best friend, Ice Tray.
Like many season one characters, Cheadle’s Ice Tray was never seen, or heard of, again. Since then, Don Cheadle has turned his focus to several groundbreaking films. The 2005-2006 period really saw him become a household name, winning countless awards.
The famed actor is now preparing to take on another historic role. This time, Don Cheadle is taking on Wall Street. Cheadle purchased the film and TV rights to Prince of Darkness, originally a book based on Jeremiah G. Hamilton, Wall Street’s first millionaire and Don Cheadle is expected to portray him in this new project.
