It’s been over three and a half years now, since season two “Atlanta” on FX, aired. Since then, there’s been multiple delays, but recently, it was confirmed that the third season would air in the first half of 2022. There will only be 10 episodes, though.
Now, Atlanta season 3 is inching closer, as on Sunday night, Donald Glover gave fans a brief preview. He took to Twitter to post a minute-long trailer. These visuals featured Brian Tyree-Henry, who plays the role of Paper Boi, on the show. The end of the clip displayed the “Atlanta” logo, and “2022.”
This video was made available, through a Gilga.com link. From there, fans are able to enjoy the short clip, as anticipation for the long-awaited Atlanta season continues to grow.
When season 2 ended, Paper Boi was boarding a flight, and getting ready to kick off his European Tour. Glover plays the role of Earn, Paper Boi’s manager. They are also accompanied on this tour by Darius, who is played by Lakeith Stanfield.
