Over the years, the DeBarge family has experienced some severe tragedy. All of this is a shame, because every member of the family is so talented. But, their rough upbringing left each member a tortured soul.
Sadly, this appears to have trickled down into the second generation. A few years ago, people should remember Kristinia DeBarge from her time on “Growing Up Hip Hop.” Fortunately, Kristinia’s fate was better than her cousin’s.
Two days ago, reports surfaced of Dontae Anderson-Debarge, the son of Chico DeBarge, was murdered. At the age of 32, the young man was stabbed and killed. Reports also say he was transient, which means homeless.
