DoorDash delivery driver gets caught on camera dropping pizza on the ground and stuffing it back into the box, to deliver it to the customers

Sometimes, there are times when people take accountability, and they do the right thing. Unfortunately, this wasn’t one of those times. In Detroit, a man named Rodney King, Jr. was hungry and didn’t want to cook.

Rodney King, Jr., and his wife, were hungry, but they didn’t want to cook. Unfortunately, for them, they decided to order a pizza, using DoorDash. Cameras caught the delivery guy dropping their pizza on the ground, but stuffing it in.

Despite seeing their DoorDash delivery driver drop their pizza, on the ground, Rodney King, Jr. and his wife hoped he would do the right thing. They saw him holding their box vertically, and also saw him clean the pizza off. He left, as if nothing happened, they reported him to DoorDash, and they released a statement, and King said he intends to keep using DoorDash.

“This inappropriate and unacceptable behavior is never tolerated on the DoorDash platform. The dasher involved was immediately deactivated, and we have been in touch with the customer and fully refunded the order. We sincerely regret that this incident fell short of the experience we strive to provide every day.”
