Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine have a four-part HBO documentary, #TheDefiantOnes, coming in 2017

What Dr. Dre has managed to do in the music industry is often celebrated by fans and critics, alike. With a track record that includes Eazy-E, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent, Game, and Kendrick Lamar, a double take is required. Dr. Dre makes it all happen.

In addition to this, Dr. Dre has also provided hits for many other big names in the industry. The only thing left for Dr. Dre to do was for him to close a billion dollar deal. Two years ago, Dr. Dre did this and he’s now an Apple executive.

Yesterday, news broke about Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, his longtime business partner and Interscope Records head. The two will star in an HBO documentary called “The Defiant Ones,” which premieres in 2017. Interviews will include Ice Cube, Nas, Gwen Stefani, and Snoop Dogg, among others, and will be directed by Allen Hughes.
