Dr. Dre announces #ComptonASoundtrackbyDrDre on “The Pharmacy” on Beats 1 Radio, track listing revealed

Dr. Dre 7Apple Music managed to do something not even Eminem could when it comes to Dr. Dre. They got him to come out once a week. It’s been a long time since Dr. Dre exposed himself the way he does now. But, every weekend, he is live on “The Pharmacy.” It’s his radio show on Beats 1 Radio.

Dr. Dre has promised fans an album ever since the release of 2001, which came in 1999. In the years since then, there have been a few periods when it looked like Dr. Dre might actually drop. Notable moments were 2004-2005, 2007-2008, and 2010-2011, the latter being the most promising.

This week, Ice Cube announced a new Dr. Dre album coming right around the corner, today actually. In response to this, Dr. Dre took to his Twitter and said tune into his show for the announcement. The announcement was made and the album is Compton (A Soundtrack by Dr. Dre) for the NWA movie and features King Mez, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Jill Scott, and more.
