Dr. Dre will stream #Compton on Beats 1 Radio on Thursday at 6 pm

Ever since the turn of the century, Dr. Dre has kept fans waiting on his long-awaited album. Until earlier this year, Detox was the album that fans accused Dr. Dre of depriving them from. However, sources close to Dre revealed he was working on an entirely different album.

Last week, Ice Cube revealed Dr. Dre would be releasing his long-awaited album on August 1. He said the album would be inspired by their NWA biofilm, Straight Outta Compton. When August 1 came, Dr. Dre announced the album would be released on August 7.

While the album is officially available on August 7, Dr. Dre is giving it up to Apple Music subscribers a day early. His entire album, Compton (A Soundtrack by Dr. Dre), will stream early on Beats 1 Radio. All of this takes place during Zane Lowe’s show on Thursday.
