Drake and Future receive 29 million streams in 72 hours on Apple Music for #WATTBA #FBGOVO #OVOFBG

Throughout the year of 2015, Drake and Future have led the pack as the top two artists in hip hop. Both dropped projects unexpectedly and topped the charts. In Future’s case, many had written him off following his 2014 effort, Honest, but they are no longer counting him out.

Meanwhile, Drake has continued to deliver the music the people love, but he added an edge. For most of his career, Drake has been pit against romantic rival, Chris Brown. This year, he graduated into real rap beef with Meek Mill and he bulked up, along the way.

Drake and Future surprised the game with What A Time To Be Alive, their joint mixtape. Despite being a mixtape, the project was sold via retail and did tremendous numbers, moving 339,000 copies in its first week. When it comes to streams, the project received 29 million streams in 72 hours on Apple Music.
