The year of 2018 has seen Drake come back in a big way, establishing himself as rap’s biggest artist, again. However, this year has seen a big difference from the other years. This time, he has an artist bringing hits, and doing numbers that rival his, in Cardi B.

Drake has had three songs top Billboard Hot 100 this year. Releasing a double album, Scorpion, Drake has the highest-selling rap album of the year. But, all of this comes, as reviews for the album are not as favorable as his previous efforts, and he ended his Cash Money run.

Recently, Drake had two shows in Miami that ended up being cancelled, hugely disappointing fans. The popular rapper apologized to his fans that were understandably upset. Releasing a statement on his IG Story, Drake revealed he was sick, suddenly falling ill, leading to the cancellation, and things falling apart.
