Drake becomes first artist to surpass 95 billion Spotify streams
Drake has had another historic year, as he scored another number one album on the Billboard 200 chart, in October. That was with his “For All The Dogs” album, which contained collaborations with SZA, Sexyy Red, 21 Savage, J. Cole, and more. “First Person Shooter” with J. Cole also debuted at number one atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Moreover, the “Scary Hours” deluxe edition also included six new songs, which had another J. Cole collaboration on “Evil Ways.”
Meanwhile, Drake has just set another major streaming record. He has just become the first artist to reach 95 billion streams on Spotify. Furthermore, Drake has a firm hold on this record, as Bad Bunny is at second place, with 76,759 billion streams.
Currently, Drake is also venturing on the second leg of his It’s All A Blur Tour. J. Cole and Lil Durk are special guest performers on these dates, too. During this tour, Drake has also trended for giving back to fans at these shows, as he’s helped those who need to pay hospital bills, and even paid off a $160,000 mortgage for the home of a fans’ deceased mother.
