Drake clears the air on UConn shirt on ESPN’s “NBA Countdown” [VIDEO]

Much like many other rappers, Drake is a major sports enthusiast and he often speaks on this in his lyrics. This recent NCAA run concluded with the University of Connecticut’s basketball team winning the championship. But, Drake endorsed the University of Kentucky and made appearances with their team.

Once the University of Connecticut, UConn, won the national championship, Drake was spotted wearing one of their t-shirts. Since everything Drake does comes under scrutiny, fans on Twitter and Instagram began taunting him. However, Drake did not take this lying down.

Instead, Drake joined Avery Johnson, Jalen Rose, and Doug Collins on ESPN’s “NBA Countdown.” It was here where Drake explained what happened and said he was wearing a James Young Kentucky t-shirt. However, Rip Hamilton was the one who was wearing a UConn t-shirt and not Drake, thus ending the argument.
