Drake reveals that 21 Savage has finally received his green card
In the early hours of Thursday morning, Drake released his surprise “8AM In Charlotte” song. Furthermore, also put out a video for it, as it included cameos by his six-year-old son Adonis, throughout it.
Meanwhile, Drake also dropped some very interesting news, in 8AM In Charlotte. This was that his close friend 21 Savage finally received his green card. These were on the lyrics “Savage got a green card straight out of the consulate. Where I go, you go, brother, we Yugoslavian.” This comes after it was revealed in 2019 that 21 was actually born in the UK, and his visa in the United States ended up expiring. As a result, he was briefly in ICE custody.
This news is also major for 21, considering that he tours frequently, and is on Drake’s current It’s All A Blur Tour. This comes as the two will be performing in Drake’s hometown of Toronto, this weekend. Two dates will be available, as they’ll kick off a day after Drake releases his new “For All The Dogs” album. Drake and 21 have been on tour together since June.
