Over the years, hip hop fans have anticipated Drake getting into a beef with someone. Unfortunately, it looked like Chris Brown would be his closest thing to a rap rival. Former friend, Meek Mill, ended up becoming that, however.
Exactly what Jay Z predicted for Drake in “Light Up” actually happened and this is where Drake shined. The Toronto emcee has been labeled “soft” by everyone from Pusha T to Common. Meanwhile, Meek Mill is the more “street” artist, but Drake made this light work.
Each diss Drake released is more popular than the next, as Meek Mill had one diss with mixed reviews and a bunch of tweets. However, Meek Mill hasn’t tweeted, now, in close to a week. On the other hand, Drake had Will Smith and Kanye West present during this year’s OVO Fest and he performed “3 Peat,” his rumored Meek Mill diss and Twitter gave him the win.
