Drake fans think Take Care 2 is coming due to his long hair
A little over a decade ago, Drake dropped Take Care. This is the album that had people calling Drake “soft” for the next four years. It took Drake beefing with Meek Mill and dropping “Back 2 Back” for people to respect him as a lyricist.
Drake is now praised for his versatility, as an artist. At the time, Drake was only six years in the game, and most felt his run was over. Despite Drake being hot, few people expected him to remain on top for an additional six years. Some are hesitant to give Drake his props as a legend, if not for his longevity, alone.
In 2011, Drake dropped Take Care, and there have been rumors of a sequel. Every few years, either Drake or the fans will hint at a Take Care 2. Drake will leave a hint by sharing photos with his hair slightly longer, as it was on that album cover. Fans went crazy when Drake recreated the Take Care album cover. Yesterday, news broke that Rihanna was pregnant, and fans joked about Drake being depressed. A day later, Drake shows up to the Raptors’ game with his hair long. After fans saw this, they had Take Care 2 trending on Twitter.
