Drake fans throw beer at Pusha T while he performs
Drake stayed out of the beef the first time Pusha T dissed him. As a result, Lil Wayne stepped in, and this marked the official ending of an era. When Pusha T was rising to fame, as one half of The Clipse, Birdman turned to them for his hit, “What Happened To That Boy.” After that, Pusha and Lil Wayne slowly devolved into beef. When Drake joined the team, Pusha went after him. In 2018, Drake finally addressed Pusha T. Now, his fans are going to his concerts to handle Pusha directly.
Drake was initially dissed by Pusha T in 2011. Back then, Drake was still committed to not responding to rappers who were coming at him. However, Jay-Z gave him a warning on their Thank Me Later collaboration, with how rappers were going to try him. After that, Drake dealt with Common coming after him with “Sweet.” As a result, Drake dropped his lines on “Stay Schemin.” Shortly thereafter, he and Common made peace. Unfortunately, Pusha T sees now peace with Drake, ever.
Drake had nothing to do with Pusha T’s concert, but his fans most certainly did. Not only is Pusha T a top tier lyricist, but he’s also a force of nature in the game. While it often gets overlooked, Pusha has a lot of hits under his belt. However, they pale in comparison to Drake’s hits. As a result, Drake’s fan base dwarfs Pusha’s fan base. Unfortunately, Drake’s fans paid good money to enter Pusha’s show and caused a premature end, due to throwing beer at Pusha.
