The improved defense Ben Simmons played on Kawhi Leonard is the big reason why the Sixers won Game 2, in Toronto. That opened the door and allowed Philadelphia to dominate the Raptors. Unfortunately, the fans aren’t always rational.
Instead, the Raptors fans are blaming Drake, and his sports curse, for the Game 2 loss. The Toronto Raptors have had their fair share of struggles, in the playoffs, but are doing better than they did last year. It’s unfortunate for them, though, so are the Sixers.
Jimmy Butler’s offense and Ben Simmons’ defense are the reasons that the 76ers are coming home with the advantage. But, Twitter is going all in with blaming Drake. They are having quite the field day, having been dragging Drake since last night, when the Sixers tied the series, in Toronto.
