Drake has had social media buzzing due to spilling the tea about how he dated SZA back in 2008 but she clarified that that was 2009. This was said during his verse on 21 Savage’s “Mr. Right Now” song from his new ‘Savage Mode 2’ album with Metro Boomin that dropped last week. This weekend, Drizzy also did a very good deed in making a 14-year-old boy who is fighting cancer happy.
Zelek Murray was surprised with a video by Drake for his birthday and his face lit up with joy. Murray’s mother was also ecstatic as she took to Instagram to thank Drake for making her son’s birthday so special.
“I can’t imagine how tough you have to be, and Mustafa [The Poet] let me know how you’re a fan of mine,” said Drake. “Well, I’m a fan of you. I’m a fan of people with heart, and I can tell that you have a lot of heart. I just wanna tell you, stay strong, I love you, and I appreciate you.”
“THANK U @champagnepapi THANK YOU @mustafathepoet,” said Murray’s mother in response. “You don’t even know how much this ment for US but most importantly ‘HIM’. His strength is like no other and yes he has his good days and bad days, BUT THIS is exactly what he needed to lift up his Spirit.. to never give up.”
Big salute to Drake for making such a positive impact on Murray’s life on his special day. Many prayers and condolences go out to him to make a recovery from cancer. Check out Drake’s shout out to him below.
