Drake hints at Kendrick Lamar beef being paused and new music
On early Sunday morning, Drake appeared to hint that his high-profile feud with Kendrick Lamar may be coming to a hold. This came as a result of posting a photo to his Instagram stories, of a solider going against an entire army, as Drake’s caption read “Good times. Summer vibes up next.” This feud also comes as Drake’s Toronto home was met with three trespassers being caught this week, as well as a security guard being shot.
Furthermore, Drake’s caption also hints at potential new music coming in the summer. This comes after he was very consistent in the fall, in which be put out his “For All The Dogs” album. That project went on to become another number one album for Drake on the Billboard 200 chart. Moreover, his “First Person Shooter” record with J. Cole also debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100.
The last record released in the Drake vs Kendrick Lamar beef came exactly a week ago, which was Drake’s “The Heart Part 6.” This was named after Kendrick’s 2022 “The Heart Part 5.” However, many believed that Drake didn’t attempt to deny claims made by Kendrick, and appeared to sound very defeated in this feud.
