Drake is at the center of new lawsuit Jas Prince filed against Birdman

Ever since Drake joined Young Money/Cash Money, they have been the most-discussed label in the game. Even in the midst of the Maybach Music and G.O.O.D. Music runs, they held a strong position. Much of this is because of Drake and his situations.

Drake recently released If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late, a surprise project that is currently hip hop’s highest-selling project. But, he is beefing with label-mate, Tyga. Also, his label, Young Money, is at war with the parent label, Cash Money Records.

Birdman, the head of Cash Money Records, is now facing a lawsuit from Jas Prince, the son of J. Prince, the head of Rap-A-Lot Records. After discovering Drake, Jas Prince brought him to Cash Money Records. But, for his efforts, Jas Prince has only been paid $2 million, which has led to him deciding to file against Birdman, too.
