Drake is officially a high school graduate

Often, children are taught to go to school, get good grades, go to college and get good jobs. Despite the best efforts, children have minds of their own. Most children fall out of initial love with school and are pressured to continue going. Many of these children dream of making it big, in one way or another, to not have to go to school.

This scenario played out for a young Toronto kid named Aubrey Graham. Beginning his acting career at a young age, Aubrey would become the face of The N through “Degrassi.” At the time, a successful career is something no one could have predicted for Aubrey Graham. But, in 2007, he began doubling as Drake, his middle name, and the shift was completed in 2009.

Drake went from being a full time student to being a full time TV star and finally one of the biggest rappers on the planet. After releasing two highly-successful albums on the heels of each other, Drake is focused on his studies, once again. Via Twitter, Drake revealed he not only has been taking classes, but he has officially graduated high school, thanks to Kim Janzen. Drake is comparable to Ja Rule, who recently obtained his high school diploma in prison and is now working on his Associate’s Degree in Business.
