The media made such a big deal out of Nicki Minaj disappearing for four months. But, nobody said anything about Drake, who took a whole year off. His return has helped re-establish Cash Money Records as a force, in the game.
Drake delivered an EP, which was warming the people up. The main single, from that EP was “God’s Plan,” which is likely the lead single for his next album. This was 2018’s first hit and the song immediately topped the charts.
Recently, Drake saw the song continue to grow, as it dominates all platforms of radio. The record has become the biggest hit of his career and has become one of the biggest of all-time. His single has become the fifth-longest number one single of all-time.
