Over the past week, XXXTentacion’s murder trial finally kicked off. This comes after the 20-year-old rapper was shot and killed in Deerfield Beach, FL, back in June 2018.

An interesting development that has surfaced in court, is one of the XXXTentacion murder suspect’s defense attorney, Mauricio Padilla, getting Drake involved, in court. This is the attorney for Dedrick Williams, who mentioned Drake’s 2017 beef with X. X also previously said on his Instagram stories that “IF ANYONE TRIES TO KILL ME IT WAS @champagnepapi IM snitching RN.”

As a result, TMZ is reporting that Drake has now been ordered to sit down for deposition, about this case. Drake had to appear in court on January 27, but could not attend. As a result, he is scheduled to sit down for one on February 24, via Zoom. If he can’t attend that date and misses the one on February 27, he could be charged with contempt.

The suspects on trial are Williams,  Michael Boatwright, and Trayvon Newsome. Robert Allen has since plead guilty to second-degree murder. X was initially shot after leaving a motorcycle dealership. His duffle bag filled with cash was also taken, in that situation.
