Drake postpones “For All The Dogs” album’s release date to October 6

Drake postpones “For All The Dogs” album to October 6

Drake is currently preparing to release his upcoming eighth studio album, “For All The Dogs.” This month, he initially announced a September 22 date. However, that plan has now been postponed.

At around 1:45AM on Saturday morning, Drake took to his Instagram stories to reveal that For All The Dogs will now be released on October 6. This came as a result of a “dillemma” of canceling concerts in his current It’s All A Blur Tour to finish the album, or put it out before the final show. Moreover, Drake added that this decision is “only right.” Furthermore, October is also his birthday month.

However, on Friday, Drake did release a new single, that will appear on For All The Dogs. This is his “Slime You Out” record, which includes a huge feature from SZA. It is also his first collaboration released with SZA. The two initially teased this collaboration on Wednesday night, and went on to confirm it, on Thursday night. Drake posted a FaceTime screenshot photo with SZA to his Instagram stories.
