Five years ago, during the summer of 2011, Pusha T began sending subtle shots towards Drake’s direction. The beef never came to fruition, however, as Drake stayed out of it. This was the type of thing Jay Z warned him about, the year prior.
Drake was close to Kanye West and Big Sean, so he did his best to not get involved with much beef with G.O.O.D. But, beef still came, during the summer of 2012, when Lil Wayne fired off on Pusha T. All of this came in spite of Pusha T and Birdman once being friends.
Tonight, five years after his first Pusha T shot was received, Drake fired back. Ensuing years have seen Drake battle Chris Brown, Tyga, and Meek Mill, among other shots. Feeling himself, as he has taken the game, Drake dropped “Two Birds, One Stone” on his OVO Sound Radio show via Apple Music, where he dissed Pusha T and Twitter is going crazy.
