Drake buys chain to symbolize times he pondered engagements
Drake is currently trending for a new piece of jewelry, which has a very interesting meaning of significance. According to TMZ, he recently purchased a chain which contains 42 engagement ring diamonds on them.
Drake made this purchase, to signify all the times that he wanted to propose to women. This was made by celebrity jeweler, Alex Moss. This chain went on to be called”Previous Engagements.” Drake initially pondered on proposing to many women, but ultimately didn’t follow through with them. 42 diamonds are included on this chain, as well as 351.38 carats and 18k white gold.
Drake initially got this chain done in New York City, as Alex Moss worked on it for 14 months. It’s still unclear how much exactly that Drake paid for this latest piece of jewelry, though.
This comes as Drake released his second album of the year, last month. This was “Her Loss,” as it was a joint album with 21 Savage. This easily debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, as it was also Drake’s second number one album of the year. His other one was “Honestly, Nevermind” in June, which experimented with dance/EDM records.
