Drake raps on “BBL Drizzy” beat on Sexyy Red’s “U My Everything”
On Friday, Sexyy Red dropped off her new “In Sexyy We Trust” mixtape. 14 new songs were included, as well a s huge features from Drake, Lil Baby, and more. Moreover, Tay Keith executive produced the entire project.
Sexyy’s collaboration with Drake was on “U My Everything,” as Drake’s verse had social media buzzing. This is due to him rapping on Metro Boomin’s “BBL Drizzy” instrumental, which initially clowned Drake about getting plastic surgery. The BBL Drizzy beat was also an open challenge by Metro to allow all artists to rap over it. Drake collaborated with Sexyy last fall as well, on his “Rich Baby Daddy” single, which also included SZA.
Furthermore, Drake’s said on U My Everything “BBL Drizzy, they want a new body, they ask me for it … But Red, don’t even worry about all of that s**t/Just keep it natural for ’em, I swear.” Here, it appears that Drake simply is asked to pay for various models’ BBLs. This response also comes amid Drake’s recent legendary public beef with Kendrick Lamar.
Metro’s BBL Drizzy beat was released earlier this month. He even added that the winner of the best song that included the beat would get a free beat from him, as well as $10,000.
