Few rappers in the game reference the NBA as much as Drake does. Then, there are even fewer who actually work with an NBA team the way Drake does with the Toronto Raptors. With all that in mind, there is no doubt that Drake wouldn’t be in New Orleans in time for the 2014 NBA All-Star Game.
Drake was there alongside Birdman and Lil Wayne from Cash Money Records and the Young Money imprint. During the actual game, however, Drake was with Meek Mill and his Dreamchasers camp. While with them, Drake even rocked a Dreamchasers chain.
In the middle of the game, Drake was reacting much differently than he did during the 2012 NBA All Star Game. The morale was a bit different and Drake had something to keep himself entertained. Apparently, Drake received a funny text message, which led to a very animated reaction from the Toronto rhymespitter.
