For the last few months, a Drake look-alike has been trending on social media, as he’s made appearances in various Miami and Los Angeles nightclubs. Many wondered if Drake would put a stop to this situation, but apparently, doesn’t mind it at all. This also comes after the look-alike performed some of Drake’s songs, in a club.
This Drake look-alike also goes by Izzy, and recently appeared in a No Jumper interview. There, he explained that people DM him, asking to book him for events. This is due to the real Drake being much more expensive, to book. Izzy reportedly gets $5,000 bookings.
“People DM me, like, ‘Do you want to come to my event? We can’t pay Drake because he’s too expensive. They also cover his traveling and accommodations. “I’ve been doing my thing, you know. That’s all I’m gonna say.”
Izzy also revealed that Drake is aware of what he is doing. Izzy even contacted Drake, while in Vegas, and got his approval. Drake was said to be fine with Izzy getting his money.
