This is a year that really flew by and when it comes to hip hop, the entertainment was not disappointing. One of the biggest artists this year was Drake, as he managed to touch every part of the game. Early this year, he was hitting the beach with Tahiry and he ended his beef with Chris Brown by the end of the summer.
While most of this was going on, Drake was dropping hit records and his third album also came this year. Now, Drake is negotiating more deals with the various companies who want to work with him. It looks like Charlamagne Tha God’s prophecy about Drake was right after all.
Drake performed in Portland last night and he revealed he visited Nike headquarters and signed a deal. Ironically, Kanye West left Nike for Adidas and that was confirmed last night. The deal will begin to come to fruition in the near future and Drake is a part of the Jordan Brand.
