Drake walks out to Charlotte concert with Amari Bailey
On Friday night, Drake kicked off the first of two straight nights of concerts in Charlotte, NC. Furthermore, Drake also continued his trend of having different celebrities walk out with him, prior to the start of these concerts, which are part of his ongoing It’s All A Blur Tour.
As a result, Drake went on to bring out Amari Bailey of the Charlotte Hornets, who’s currently on a 2-way contract with the Greensboro Swarm of the NBA’s G-League. This concert was held inside the Hornets’ home arena, the Spectrum Center.
Moreover, many also remember when Drake previously dated Bailey’s mom, Johanna Leia, in early 2021. At the time, Drake even had a private dinner with her inside of Dodger Stadium. Bailey went on to spend one year of college basketball in nearby UCLA, as he went on to declare for the NBA Draft, shortly after. He was drafted in the second round, at 41st overall. Drake even got Bailey an OVO chain, when he was dating his mother.
Drake’s highly anticipated “For All The Dogs” album will also be out on October 6. This comes after the project saw a delay from its initial September 22 release date. For All The Dogs will be Drake’s third album released, since the summer of 2022.
