Drake wins $1.3 million after betting on Gervonta Davis fight
Last night, Gervonta Davis delivered an exciting 7th round TKO win over Ryan Garcia, as this was one of the most anticipated boxing matches of the year. As a result, Davis remained undefeated, by improving to 29-0. At the time of the fight, Garcia was also undefeated. Prior to the fight, Davis also had Chief Keef walk with him to the ring, and performed his 2012 hit single, “Love Sosa.”
Meanwhile, plenty of people out huge bets on this fight, including Drake. Prior to it, he put down a $1 million wager on his Stake betting website. Therefore, after Davis scored his victory, Drake went on to earn over $1.3million payout, for his bet.
Drake is known to frequently put massive bets on events, over the last few years. This included various NBA, UFC, and NFL events, as well.
Drake is also kicking off his “It’s All A Blur” Tour with 21 Savage, this summer. The first date kicks off on June 16, in New Orleans. This comes after the two put out their joint album, “Her Loss,” in November. They also recently performed the records from that project at Drake’s Apollo Theater concert, in January.
