Drake wins over $2 million after bets on Nuggets to win NBA Finals
On Monday night, the Denver Nuggets quickly ended the 2023 NBA Finals, after defeating the Miami Heat in five games. Game 5 was won in Denver, as they got to celebrate on their home floor. This championship was led by a historic postseason run by NBA Finals MVP Nikola Jokic, as well as Jamal Murray. As a result, this is also the Nuggets’ first NBA title in franchise history.
Meanwhile, Drake also cashed out on some major bets that he placed, in favor of the Nuggets. He won over $2 million on his Stake betting platform, for this series. This included picking the Nuggets to win in Game 5, as well as them winning the series in five games. Drake bet $1 million on Denver winning the series outright, and the $242,583.91 was predicting them to win in those five games.
Drake is also venturing on his “It’s All A Blur” Tour, on June 29. He will be joined by 21 Savage, as that’ll kick off in New Orleans, The tour will run through October 7, where Drake’s hometown of Toronto will have two straight concerts.
