It’s been over three weeks now, since buzzing Los Angeles rapper, Drakeo The Ruler, was stabbed to death. That incident occurred right before he was set to perform at the Once Upon A Time In LA Festival.
Drakeo ended up being sent to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries. At the time of the stabbing, the festival ended early, and stars such as Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent weren’t able to perform.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, there are still issues for Drakeo’s family, regarding burial costs. They are reportedly not able to cover these prices, and are looking to receive a court order, where they can use his money to pay for the expenses.
According to TMZ, the burial costs for Drakeo are at a hefty $52,000. Drakeo’s mom says his assets are worth $2 million. She also wants to make sure she gives a memorial that is filled with “dignity, style and grace.”
This situation with getting the burial costs and memorial locked in is time sensitive as well, as Drakeo’s mother needs to reserve a spot, with funeral homes. Availability has reportedly been limited, due to more COVID-19-related deaths.
