Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy,” to Remain at Number One, on Billboard 200 Chart, For Third Consecutive Week

Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” is already being viewed in a lot of people’s minds, as the album of 2021. It experience a nine-month delay, but finally dropped, on September 1. It soon debuted at number one, on the Billboard 200 chart, with 613,000 units sold, in its first week. Last week, it also hit number one, with over 230,000.

CLB is on its way to continuing its historic reign, as it will be at number one, for a third straight week, according to Chart Data. This week’s sales will accumulate 156,000 units. Drake will also hold the record of CLB being the first rap album this year, to spend its first three weeks at number one. Lil Nas X’s debut studio album, “Montero,” will debut at number two, with 125,000 units.

CLB contained 21 tracks, with appearances from Travis Scott, Jay Z, 21 Savage, Young Thug, Future. and more. The “Way 2 Sexy” record also debuted at number one, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The album has also already gone gold in the US, as it’s the fastest album to do so, in 2021.
