Death, at any level, is hard for people to digest, but when it happens to young people, it is an extra kind of sad. Recent years have shown death does not care how old a person is, with both young and old people dying in large sums. Many of the young deaths have sparked movements online.
Early this year, Drake made headlines for going to Houston to meet Kennedy Brown, a young girl dying of cancer. The young woman was a big fan of Drake and her dying wish was to spend the day with him. Meanwhile, here in North Carolina, Jasmin Grady died in a car accident and her dying wish was to have Drake sing at her funeral.
Unfortunately, Jasmin Grady didn’t have Drake sing at her funeral, but her friends and supporters still hope he’ll make a song for her. This month also saw Kennedy Brown pass away. While Drake didn’t respond, this month, his father, Dennis Graham, paid his respects to both young ladies on his Instagram.
