Drake’s “For All The Dogs” sets streaming record on Apple Music
On Friday, Drake released his highly anticipated “For All The Dogs” album, two weeks after its initial postponed date. As a result, Drake delivered 23 new songs, including collaborations with J. Cole, SZA, Sexyy Red, 21 Savage, Lil Yachty, and more.
Meanwhile, For All The Dogs is already setting streaming records. According to Chart Data, it has now broken the record for biggest first day streams for any album released in 2023 on Apple Music.
Moreover, the album is also expected to become Drake’s eighth straight number one solo album, on the Billboard 200 chart. In its first week, it’s on pace to sell between 400,000-450,000 units in its first week.
In addition to For All The Dogs topping the Billboard 200, “First Person Shooter” with J. Cole is also on its way to debuting at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This was the first collaboration between Drake and Cole, since 2013’s “Jodeci Freestyle.” Fans had been waiting a decade for the two superstars to link up again, and didn’t disappoint on this new collaboration, at all.
