Drake has been on fire over the past month, with his “For All The Dogs” album. This project was released in October, and went on to become his eighth straight number one solo studio album. Moreover, every studio album in Drake’s career has reached this mark.
Meanwhile, For All The Dogs has reached another major milestone. It is now at platinum eligibility in the US. This comes after selling over 1 million units, according to Chart Data. The album contained 23 songs, including star-studded features from J. Cole, SZA, 21 Savage, and much more. “First Person Shooter” with Cole debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and For All The Dogs also debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
Furthermore, Drake released the “Scary Hours” edition of For All The Dogs, over a week ago. As a result, the album returned to number one on the Billboard 200. Six new songs were released, and included another collaboration with J. Cole, on “Evil Ways.”
In January, Drake is also venturing on the second leg of his It’s All A Blur Tour. This time, J. Cole will be a special guest performer. The first leg featured 21 Savage, after he and Drake released their joint album, “Her Loss.”
