Draya Michele sues ex-boyfriend Tyrod Taylor over LA home deal
Draya Michele is dragging her ex-boyfriend, Tyrod Taylor, to court. She just filed a lawsuit against the NFL quarterback, claiming he reneged on a house deal they had verbally agreed upon.
According to the suit, obtained by TMZ Sports, Tyrod purchased a Los Angeles-area home back in August 2022 and allowed Draya and her kids to move in. Draya claims that at the time, they entered into a verbal agreement that she would have the option to buy the house from Tyrod. Any contributions she made towards the property, including improvements and mortgage payments, were to go towards the final purchase price.
Despite not formalizing the agreement in writing, Draya went on to offer Tyrod $2.8 million for the house. Tyrod countered with $3.2 million in January 2024, which Draya accepted. She then invested nearly $300K into the property, believing it would be deducted from the agreed purchase price.
However, Draya alleges that Tyrod recently reneged on the deal and is now threatening to evict her while refusing to sell the property. She is suing for breach of contract and seeking unspecified damages.
Draya and Tyrod reportedly began dating in 2020 but split in 2023. Draya is now dating NBA star Jalen Green and recently gave birth to their child.
