Draymond Green is being blamed by Twitter for Kevin Durant leaving the Warriors, after KD said he was a factor, for the Nets, as fans begin to drag him, and clown those who say he’s the heartbeat of the team and provides more than the stat sheet shows

At the beginning of last season, the Golden State Warriors began to show signs of cracking. Since 2014, the Warriors have consistently been the NBA’s top team. That ended in 2018, when they fell to the second seed, and in 2019, they fell short of the Bucks’ record.

Early last season, the Warriors’ crack showed, when they lost an overtime game to the Clippers. An offensive breakdown on Kevin Durant’s part set Draymond Green off. They had an argument, which was talked about the whole season.

The Warriors ultimately lost to the Toronto Raptors, in the NBA Finals, this summer. Injuries to Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson led to the series loss, in the eyes of most. When he departed, for the Nets, fans assumed it was due to Draymond Green, and KD confirmed this on “First Take,” and Twitter is going in on Draymond over this.
