Drive-By Shooting on Street in Los Angeles Where “Friday” Was Filmed Leaves One Man Dead and Woman in Hospital

Friday” is considered a classic album to many in hip-hop and the film industry this has been the case since its initial release in 1995. “Next Friday” would go on to be released in 2002. Now, on of the streets where Friday was filmed is the investigation of a double shooting.

According to TMZ, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, their homicide detectives responded to a call placed about a drive-by shooting in South LA at 126th Street and Normandie on April 20. This is reportedly where Ice Cube’s character, Craig, lived in Friday.

This shooting left two shot as one man was pronounced dead. A woman was shot as she was soon transported to a nearby hospital. She’s would go on to be okay. These two people were said to be in this area to look at the house that Ice Cube used in the movie.

At this point, the suspects in this shooting are still on the loose. The Sheriff’s Department encourages anyone with information about the case to contact their The Sheriff’s Department.
