The past couple of years have seen delivery workers taking a stand for their wages. As a result, a lot of people have dealt with delivery workers not giving them their orders. While the workers feel as if they’re taking a stand, the customers accuse them of stealing. Regardless of whether or not they have tipped their driver, they still paid for their stuff. One person delivering grocery refused to give them to their customers, due to the customer not giving her a tip.
This year, there have been all kinds of delivery people going off over tips. Several DoorDash drivers have gone off on customers, due to their tips. As a result, there have been delivery people fussing at, and even threatening some customers. This has gone back into the ongoing debates over tipping. While it is proper etiquette to give people their tips, it’s not mandatory. Giving the customers what they paid for, though, is mandatory.
One woman has started the weekend off in a very interesting way. The woman has gone viral on TikTok, due to her refusal to give people the groceries she was supposed to deliver to her customers. There’s a woman who works as a grocery delivery driver. When she arrived to a customer’s home, she expected to receive a tip. Instead, she ended up not giving them their order, because they didn’t give her a tip. In turn, they said they still paid for the grocery, so they still deserve.
