Back in 2012, the floodgates opened in Chicago and several figures in the city rose to fame. The biggest name from them was Chief Keef, although not every person to emerge was affiliated with him. A couple of years later, DRose was among those to gain fame.

Before becoming famous, DRose (real name Ahbir Sardin) was involved in a fatal shooting. Now twenty years old, DRose was only seventeen when Venzel Richardson was shot and killed. In 2014, he was a freshman at Dunbar Vocational High School.

Yesterday, DRose was sentenced to prison for the murder. He was found guilty in the court of law and will serve forty years behind bars. By the time the sentence is up, DRose will be sixty years old.
