Solo Version of Dua Lipa’s 2020 Smash Hit Single, “Levitating,” Now Has More Radio Airplay Than Its Remix, Which Features DaBaby, After His Homophobic and HIV/AIDS Comments

DaBaby has been losing major opportunities and money, following his comments that he made at Rolling Loud last weekend, regarding gay men and HIV/AIDS. Seven festivals have cancelled his performances, and even Summer Jam in Denver, canceled their concerts completely, over DaBaby.
Now, a huge record that DaBaby has been part of is slowing down on the radio has well. The Charlotte rapper appeared on Dua Lipa’s “Levitating” remix in late 2020, and has been a worldwide hit.
According to Chart Data and Billboard though, Dua’s solo version of Levitating now accounts for the majority of radio display in the US. DaBaby’s overall steams may start taking a significant hit as well. Dua also condemned his RL comments, days after the incident, as she explained that DaBaby showed a different side than the artist she worked with.
This all comes as DaBaby had a chart-topping single in 2020 with “Rockstar,” feat. Roddy Ricch. His third studio album, “Blame It On Baby,” also debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
