Back in late September, a major development in the 1996 2Pac murder case finally reached a major point. Duane “Keefe D” Davis was arrested in connection to the murder. Therefore, he was charged with murder with the use of a deadly weapon. Davis was previously suspected of supplying the firearm that was used in the drive-by shooting of Pac, in Las Vegas. Furthermore, Davis went on to enter a not-guilty plea, after his September arrest.

Meanwhile, prosectors are now making it known that they don’t want Davis released, before his June 2024 trial. According to TMZ, they are claiming that he’s too dangerous to be released from custody. This comes after Davis’ legal team asked for a $100,000 bond.

Prosecutors also added that Davis has given various examples of why he shouldn’t be released, before his trial. This includes being a member of the South Side Compton Crips since the late 80s, as well as confessing multiple times to being involved in the 2Pac murder, such as his VladTV interviews. Furthermore, Davis is also said to have been threatening witnesses in this case.
