Duane “Keefe D” Davis pleads not guilty in 2Pac murder case
Back in late September, an arrest was finally made, in connection to the 1996 murder of 2Pac Duane “Keefe D” Davis was arrested, who is said to have supplied the firearm used in the shooting. Moreover, Keefe was the uncle of Orlando Anderson, who was initially accused of being the one who shot 2Pac. Keefe’s charge was for murder with the use of a deadly weapon.
Meanwhile, Keefe D has finally earned a public defender, after not being able to afford a lawyer. His first arraignment appearance in Las Vegas in October was delayed, due to his lawyer not attending. This was also an issue in the second hearing. However, things finally got rolling, on Thursday morning.
As a result, Keefe D has now entered a not guilty plea, according to TMZ. This was done as he was handcuffed in a Clark County courtroom in Las Vegas. Furthermore, the expectation was always that Keefe would plead not guilty. Back in July, his wife’s Henderson, NV home was also raided, as many believed that that move was related to the 2Pac case.
Moreover, Keefe had constantly been discussing the 2Pac murder case in interviews, over the years. He also dived deep into it during an interrogation by the LAPD, in 2009.
