On Friday morning, it was revealed that Duane Keith “Keffe D” Davis was arrested in Las Vegas, in connection to the 1996 murder of 2Pac. Furthermore, this also comes after a search warrant by authorities was used in July, to search his wife’s home, in July. As a result, a computer hard drive, cell phones, a copy of Vibe magazine that had 2Pac featured on the cover, as well as .40 caliber bullets were found.

Meanwhile, a press conference has just been held, as it was revealed what Davis has been charged with. A grad jury made a decision to hit Davis with one count of open murder with use of a deadly weapon with a gang enhancement, according to TMZ. Davis reportedly provided the weapon used in the shooting.

Davis was in Las Vegas on the night of the September 1996 shooting, as it was always believed by many, that his nephew Orlando Anderson was who shot 2Pac, in a drive-by shooting. 2Pac and Anderson initially got into a huge brawl at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, after a Mike Tyson boxing match. Pac attacked Anderson after he allegedly stole a Death Row Records associate’s chain at a mall in Los Angeles.
