Duke versus North Carolina basketball is the greatest rivalry in all of sports. The current chapter in that rivalry just adds more truth to that statement. The Blue Devils were down 13 in regulation but ended up winning the game in overtime.
Tre Jones made the jump shot to send the game into overtime and then Wendell Moore caught an airball and gave Duke the win in OT. This loss has to sting for North Carolina as they are trying to fight for a berth into the NCAA tournament.
These two teams will see each other one more time before the season is over on March 7. This time the Tar Heels will have to play at Cameron Indoor Stadium which is one of the toughest places to play. It will be interesting to see what these two teams have in store for the next time they meet.
