Quite a bit of attention is beginning to be given to the Charlotte hip hop scene. Usually, the city only receives attention during CIAA weekend, when all the big names in hip hop flood the city. But, talents actually from the town are beginning to make an impact.
DuRu Tha King is making sure he is at the forefront of this wave taking place in Charlotte. Actually, DuRu Tha King talked to Hip Hop Vibe, last year, about the hip hop scene in his city. In that interview, he discussed the “New Charlotte” movement.
This afternoon, Distinct Attractions revealed their official lineup for their New Kings tour. Headlining the tour is DuRu Tha King, who is headlining alongside Slide Dillinger and NephLon Don. The dates for the tour were revealed along with the lineup.
