Music saw a major shakeup in 2015, as the way music is delivered changed, completely. It began when Jay Z purchased TIDAL and added several celebrity co-owners to the company. From there, Apple launched Apple Music and made Dr. Dre the face of it.
Immediately, Apple Music began giving endorsements to several celebrities to join them. This crippled TIDAL, as they brought Pharrell and Drake on, among others. They both have radio shows they host every weekend.
On tonight’s episode of OVO Sound Radio, DVSN hosted. This episode did not feature Drake, on-air, but fans were not disappointed. dvsn held it down and the fans respected the way he handled it and they gave him all kinds of love on Twitter.
